Giants' O-line in flux, Bradshaw hobbled
By Matt Mosley
New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin might have to be creative with his offensive line Sunday in Houston. Starting center Shaun O'Hara and his backup Adam Koets are both injured, which has caused some musical chairs in today's practice.
Left guard Rich Seubert moved over to center and left tackle David Diehl took his spot in practice. Former Eagles Pro Bowl guard Shawn Andrews is working as the starting left tackle. Coughlin said that Diehl and Andrews will flip spots in practice to make sure they're ready for every scenario.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Bradshaw is working through an ankle injury. Coughlin really wants to see him practice this week before putting him back in the lineup.
"Bradshaw is sore," Coughlin told reporters. "We’re going to see what he looks like -- he’s taped and he went to the jog-through here. He seems to feel a little bit better under that circumstance, but we’ll see. We’ll see how much we can do with him today."
The Texans love to play games at line of scrimmage in terms of twists and stunts, so it will be imperative that the offensive line is on the same page. Should be an interesting week of preparation.
