Former Redskins QB Brennan hurt in crash
By ESPN.com staff
Former Washington Redskins quarterback Colt Brennan was seriously injured Friday in a two-car crash on Hawaii's Big Island.
Brennan was a passenger in an SUV when the driver crossed the centerline on Queen Kaahumanu Highway in North Kona and collided head-on with a sedan, according to Big Island police. He was transported to Honolulu and his condition is listed as serious.
The Redskins drafted the former University of Hawaii star in the sixth round of the 2008 draft. Brennan spent 2009 on injured reserve after hip surgery and was waived earlier this summer after being sidelined again with a knee injury.
