Keith Brooking is training his replacement
By Dan Graziano
Dallas Cowboys veteran inside linebacker Keith Brooking wants to play for at least one more season, but that hasn't kept him from teaching rookie Sean Lee everything he knows. Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com has a column on how Brooking once learned from Falcons linebacker Jessie Tuggle that it's OK to share all your knowledge with a guy who will likely replace you in the starting lineup sooner rather than later.
"The nature of this league is that every year they draft somebody to replace you," Brooking said. "It's part of the profession."
Later today, I'll roll out columns on Sunday's Dysfunctional Bowl and the big one in the Meadowlands. Stay by your laptops.
