Redskins will hold 6th pick in NFL draft
By Dan Graziano
The Washington Redskins' 11th loss of the season improved their draft position a little bit. According to ESPN Stats & Information, the Redskins now hold the No. 6 pick in the NFL draft, having moved ahead of Jacksonville due to their loss and the Jaguars' victory over the Colts. It's unlikely the Redskins will be able to draft one of the top two quarterbacks in the draft --Stanford's Andrew Luck or Baylor's Robert Griffin III, if the latter decides to skip his senior year -- at that spot, but they have a little bit less far to go if they want to make a move and trade up for one of them.
As for the rest of our division, draft position depends on the results of tonight's game between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys. If the Giants win, ESPN Stats & Info tells us, the Cowboys would pick 14th and the Philadelphia Eagles 15th. If the Cowboys win, the Eagles would pick 14th and the Giants would pick 18th.
The draft position of the winner of tonight's game will depend on how far they advance into the playoffs.
