GREEN BAY, Wis. -- I was headed in search of bratwurst at halftime when I bumped into a member of the Cowboys' scouting department. From what he'd seen to that point, he said the Eagles had much better personnel than the Packers. He'd been especially impressed with the Eagles' offensive line.
We also had a long discussion on the work of Felix Jones. He was telling me that Jones' college teammate needs a seam to get loose. Jones is better at making people miss.
We've reached the end of the third quarter. It looked like the Packers would almost certainly have good field position after pinning the Cowboys deep in their territory, but punter Mat McBriar made up for an early shank with a booming punt and then the Packers were called for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Early in the game, the Packers were hurting the Cowboys with the pass, but Dallas no longer has to respect the run. You're seeing the Cowboys bring pressure on almost every play.
