DeSean Jackson at 93 in #NFLRank project

By Phil Sheridan

LeSean McCoy lamented that fantasy football players "forgot" about him. Now DeSean Jackson is feeling the effects of being on a team that went 4-12 last season.

Jackson, who is expected to be a major weapon in Chip Kelly's go-go offense, came in at No. 93 among offensive players in ESPN's NFL Rank Project. Players were ranked according to ballots submitted by 63 NFL experts. Each player was assigned a score based on those ballots. Jackson's score was 6.60, which tied him with 49ers' center Jonathan Goodwin and left him one spot ahead of Detroit QB Matthew Stafford (6.57).

For all his game-breaking speed and skill, Jackson scored just two touchdowns last season. He caught 45 passes for 700 yards. Maybe the key number is 11, which is how many games he was healthy enough to play. If he can play all 16, and if Kelly's offense is as explosive as expected, Jackson could find himself with a much higher ranking next year.
