IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys' defensive line has been hammered by injuries this season, with the loss of two projected starters and a backup player.

Add defensive tackle Jason Hatcher to the list. Hatcher, a starter, suffered a stinger in the loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday. His status for practice this week is uncertain, but the injury is described as minor.

Also, running back Lance Dunbar underwent an MRI on Monday revealed a sprained right hamstring.

"I can't catch a break," said Dunbar, who suffered the injury on a kickoff. "I'm running full-speed and pulled it a little bit."

Dunbar suffered a hamstring injury to his left hamstring last season and needed a few weeks to recover.

"I hope (my return) is as soon as possible," he said. Dunbar became the main kick returner with wide receiver Dwayne Harris being limited to offensive snaps due to a hip pointer. But when Dunbar went down, Harris was inserted on returns. If Dunbar is unavailable, the Cowboys could move Harris back to returns.

Defensive end DeMarcus Ware and left guard Ronald Leary left the Denver game with cramps. Ware, after receiving an IV, returned, Leary left toward the end but didn't return. Barry Church suffered a broken nose while making a tackle, but he finished the game.

Wide receiver Miles Austin has missed the past two games with a hamstring injury and team officials say he's progressing in his rehab. Linebacker Justin Durant missed the Broncos game with a left groin injury and is getting better in rehab work.
