IRVING, Texas -- Greetings from the Cowboys locker room, where Terrell Owens and Brad Johnson just held their weekly news conferences. T.O. frowned throughout the interview and took a page out of agent Drew Rosenhaus' playbook and delivered a couple of "next questions" to ESPN's Ed Werder.
T.O. didn't want any part of the numerous questions about quarterback Brad Johnson -- and I don't blame him. He had nothing to gain by criticizing Johnson. He did say that he's played catch with Brooks Bollinger, and he praised the work the backup quarterback has done with the scout team. T.O. only expressed frustration once during his 20-minute visit with the media Wednesday.
"You're at a wide receiver position and you're capable of making plays," he said. "And you've made your career because of making plays, and you're not making them. It is frustrating."
The Beast also had extended visits with Brad Johnson, Giants coach Tom Coughlin and Eli Manning. More on that later.
