Have you noticed how much Giants players seem to enjoy leaping over Eagles defenders? Tight end Kevin Boss jumped over Eagles safety Quintin Mikell on the Giants' last scoring drive.
The Eagles defense did a great job of holding the Giants to a field goal, but the offense can't get anything going. Donovan McNabb has been all over the place. And it's not like the Giants have to worry about the Eagles' running game. They've made Philadelphia one-dimensional -- and Andy Reid's not putting up much of a fight. I'm looking forward to asking Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo what his plan was for taking Brian Westbrook out of the game. Because it's certainly working.
The Eagles were imaginative in the first half with end-arounds to DeSean Jackson. Wth the exception of the one drive, they've been stagnant in the second half. And it doesn't help that the Eagles were awful in coverage on the punt return by Domenik Hixon. It's a familiar sight to Eagles fans, some of whom will begin their march to the exits when the Giants score here.
