Brett Favre discusses his indecisiveness

In a wide-ranging cover story in the latest Men’s Journal magazine, Brett Favre talks about how much he enjoyed last season, his departure from the Packers and his longtime agent, Bus Cook. The story by Stephen Rodrick also shows the personal side of Cook.

- Favre on his legendary indecisiveness: “You’d think I’d know better by now. I’ve learned a lot through the years. What I haven’t learned is what I’ll do and when I’ll do it.”
- Favre on his first meeting with Cook in 1990 at a golf course in Mississippi: “We played 18 holes and then we went back to the clubhouse. He started buying me vodka-and-grapefruits, doing card tricks, and next thing he’s my agent for life.”
- Favre also talked about his interception late in the NFC Championship Game against the Saints. Favre threw across his body and across the field to Sidney Rice. The pass was intercepted by the Saints’ Tracy Porter at New Orleans’ 22-yard line. “As a player you’ve got to pull the trigger,” Favre told Rodrick.
