A couple of odds and ends to round out your evening:
UPDATE: The Packers have agreed to terms with defensive end Michael Montgomery, according to this post by Pete Dougherty of the Green Bay Press-Gazette. Montgomery tested his value on the free agent market after the Packers announced their switch to a 3-4 defense, but ultimately he decided to return to Green Bay.
Boston College defensive tackle B.J. Raji will visit Detroit on Wednesday, according to NFL.com. The Lions have a huge need at defensive tackle, and Raji is generally considered the best available in the draft. Scouts Inc. ranks Raji as the fourth-best prospect overall, while ESPN analyst Mel Kiper has him at No. 6 on his Big Board.
Lions general manager Martin Mayhew told Detroit reporters that Wake Forest's Aaron Curry would play middle linebacker if the Lions draft him. Conveniently, that's the only linebacker position available after Saturday's acquisition of Seattle linebacker Julian Peterson.
Mayhew also said the Lions will sign a veteran backup quarterback at some point but plan to give Drew Stanton a look during early offseason workouts.
