Strength of remaining NFC North schedules

NFC West colleague Mike Sando swung and missed on last year's Percy Harvin-Beanie Wells debate, but he has since rallied with a unique look at each NFL team's remaining schedule.

Most of you know I'm not a big believer in preseason strength-of-schedule analyses, but in-season examinations make a lot of sense. Sando based his on ESPN.com's Power Rankings.

You can view the entire chart over on the NFC West blog, but below I've listed where the schedule of each NFC North team ranks based on the average position of their opponents in the Week 10 Power Rankings.

6. Chicago Bears

12. Green Bay Packers

17. Minnesota Vikings

27. Detroit Lions

The chart confirms what many of us have understood anecdotally: That the Bears have an awfully difficult second-half schedule, including matchups against the top three AFC East teams. And it provides some hope for the Lions, who now have consecutive games against the Buffalo Bills (0-8) and Dallas Cowboys (1-7).
