I don't blame Chicago Bears tight end Greg Olsen for heading over to Stevenson High School for an offseason practice recently. After all, the Bears play all of their home games on a high school field anyway....

As you've probably heard by now, Olsen told ESPN 1000 that Stevenson officials "kicked me off" the school's football field during a workout. A school spokesman said its facilities are closed to the public during school hours.

I didn't get the sense that Olsen was devastated by the incident, just surprised and now still looking for a place to organize his teammates for on-field practices should the lockout continue into the spring. In this unprecedented NFL offseason, it qualifies as an amusing anecdote.
