You've made the drive from Detroit to Cleveland before, right? It's less than three hours if you don't hit summer construction. The Detroit Lions appear to be taking advantage of that proximity by taking a bus to Cleveland for Friday night's preseason game against the Browns.

Along the way, it appears the Lions will take a cool detour to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Two players indicated as much on their Twitter feeds Thursday afternoon. Defensive end Cliff Avril tweeted: "On the bus to Ohio, first stop Canton to the HOF... #WIN," while linebacker Stephen Tulloch posted:

"Busing it to Canton, Ohio with my teammates to the Hall of Fame. It's always a great experience walking thru the HOF.Very humbling..."

I'm sure we'll hear more in the coming days, but this seems like a pretty cool move for both a historic perspective and team bonding.
