MINNEAPOLIS -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have made it a game here at the Metrodome, and the Minnesota Vikings are fortunate to hold a lead as the fourth quarter begins.
LeGarrette Blount's 27-yard touchdown run, along with a 36-yard field goal from Connor Barth, have pulled the Bucs to 17-10, but the Bucs left at least seven more points on the table via miscues. Quarterback Josh Freeman threw a pass well behind tight end Kellen Winslow in the end zone, giving Vikings safety Husain Abdullah an easy interception. And Mike Williams' acrobatic 17-yard touchdown reception was nullified by an illegal shift penalty.
I'm going to buckle down here and focus on the fourth quarter. Barring a major development, look for a Rapid Reaction shortly after the game.
