A couple of late links to round out Monday’s developments of the NFC North:
Jeff Dickerson of ESPN Chicago explores the changing nature of the Bears’ next opponent in Seattle. Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck has a cracked rib and could be replaced by backup Seneca Wallace. My NFC West colleague Mike Sando suggests the Seahawks might be better off with Wallace at full strength than Hasselbeck with a cracked rib.
Green Bay won’t face all of St. Louis’ starting offensive line Sunday. As Sando notes, rookie right tackle Jason Smith is expected to miss the game because of a knee injury. Adam Goldberg, who played in Minnesota earlier this decade, is Smith’s likely replacement.
