NEW ORLEANS — What are you thinking about, with a little over an hour remaining before the Detroit Lions' first playoff game in 12 years?

Hanson
Here's what popped in my head while watching early pregame warmups: Lions place-kicker Jason Hanson just completed his 20th regular season in the NFL. He's never won a playoff game over that span. Hanson, in fact, has played more games — 311 — without a playoff victory than any player in league history.

And it's not even close. The next player on that list is Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez, who has played in 238 games.

If the Lions win Saturday night, I know the first player I'm going to talk to.

Remember, we'll be chatting all game long in NFL Countdown Live. Scroll down the blog a few posts or follow this link.
