Updating select injury developments in the NFC North:
Chicago Bears: Defensive end Alex Brown (ankle) again missed practice, but coach Lovie Smith continued to indicate Brown will play Sunday at Seattle.
Detroit Lions: Defensive end Cliff Avril (hamstring) again missed practice. So did defensive tackle Grady Jackson (knee), although Jackson is expected to play Sunday against Washington.
Green Bay Packers: Tailback Brandon Jackson (ankle) had a setback during the warm-up portion of practice and did not participate thereafter. Safety Nick Collins (chest) again participated on a limited basis but remains likely to play Sunday. “I anticipate Nick will go,” coach Mike McCarthy said.
Minnesota Vikings: Linebacker E.J. Henderson (shoulder) again missed practice, but defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier indicated earlier Thursday that Henderson’s injury is not serious. Tailback Adrian Peterson (back) was limited but he said he expects to play Sunday against San Francisco. Receiver Percy Harvin missed practice because of an illness. It’s only fair to point out Harvin missed rookie minicamp, as well as the NFL’s rookie symposium, because he was ill. He had some health-related tests in the spring but that doctors found no underlying issues.
