Before the Super Bowl fades too far from our memories, I want to call your attention to a cool project I contributed to earlier this year.
ESPN.com's "Super Bowl Rings" features a vignette from a player or coach of all 45 teams that have received their jewelry. For the XLV section, I spoke with Green Bay Packers safety Nick Collins, whose Super Bowl ring took on greater significance when he suffered a career-threatening neck injury in the second game of the 2011 regular season.
"I think it was one of the most glorifying days of everyone's life that was part of the Super Bowl run," Collins said.
