One week you're up, the next week you're down. So goes the passionate, knee-jerk world of ESPN.com's NFL power rankings.

After getting steamrolled Sunday in Atlanta, the Detroit Lions fell almost as far as they could -- all the way to No. 31. Only the St. Louis Rams, whom the Philadelphia Eagles nudged by 35 points, rank lower.

The Chicago Bears, on the other hand, shot up 10 spots to No. 15 overall after their impressive upset victory Sunday night at Indianapolis.

The Green Bay Packers represent the division among the NFL's top-10, checking in at No. 7, while the Vikings slipped five spots to No. 16 after a 24-19 loss at Lambeau Field.
