ESPN's Ed Werder caught up with retired quarterback Brett Favre, whom I'm told once played in the NFC North, to discuss his new role as the offensive coordinator at Oak Grove (Miss.) High School.
I got a kick out of watching Favre, in his own words, "acting like an idiot" while celebrating touchdowns on the sideline. It's not much different than his reactions to scores during his playing career.
"I don't have to be playing or throwing myself to get excited," Favre said. "And that's why I'm out here doing it."
