Barry Sanders starts an ESPN 'Car Wash'*

Some of you might already be aware that Detroit Lions Hall of Fame running back Barry Sanders will spend Tuesday going through the ESPN "Car Wash" in Bristol, Conn. You can catch him on "SportsCenter," "First Take" and various ESPN Radio shows throughout the day. It started off with this appearance on "Mike & Mike in the Morning."

Sanders, who has grown close to the current Lions hierarchy over the past year, said he thinks the 2012 team is "poised to make a deep run" in the playoffs this season. He also spoke about the holdout of Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew, the set of unique rules the Dallas Cowboys have given receiver Dez Bryant and about his role in the just-released "Madden 13" game.

*Update: Here is Sanders' appearance on "The Herd with Colin Cowherd."
