Chicago Bears
Linebacker Brian Urlacher continues to insist he'll be on the field when the Bears open the regular season on Sunday.

Detroit Lions
Quarterback Matthew Stafford: "I think we're ready for Week 1 now. Guys are ready to start working on another team; working on a team that is a regular-season game and a team that's a very talented team, so we're looking forward to jumping into the Rams."
The Lions add some much-needed depth to their secondary by acquiring defensive back Drayton Florence.

General manager Ted Thompson says the team's confidence in backup quarterback Graham Harrell never wavered during the preseason. “He never lost his confidence during this whole time,” Thompson said. “I know he’s been the focal point but Graham has a sometimes quiet, sometimes not so quiet confidence in himself to play the position. Our coaches have been behind him the whole way.”
Minnesota Vikings
Don't expect to see running back Adrian Peterson on the field in a game before he is 100 percent healthy.
