While we have a moment, let's roll through a few NFC North injury updates:
Green Bay Packers receiver Greg Jennings will be a limited participant in practice Tuesday, his first appearance since suffering a groin injury Sept. 9. The Packers have an extra day to prepare for their next game, a Monday night matchup at the Seattle Seahawks.
Packers running back James Starks is also expected to practice Tuesday, but coach Mike McCarthy couldn't say whether Starks will be available for the Seahawks game. Starks suffered a turf toe injury more than a month ago, and McCarthy said: "A turf toe, I don't think you just jump up out of bed one day and you're OK. There will be some transition time for him to come back." It is clear, however, that Starks has ceded the top tailback spot to Cedric Benson. "The running back position is as competitive as it's been since I've been here. I feel good about that group from top to bottom," McCarthy said.
