Let's take a look at who practiced and who didn't Wednesday in the NFC North:
Chicago Bears: Tailback Matt Forte (ankle) participated in practice and expressed optimism that he'll be able to play Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys. Forte told Michael C. Wright of ESPNChicago.com that he has been sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber to speed healing. Running back Michael Bush also practiced Wednesday.
Detroit Lions: As we noted earlier, quarterback Matthew Stafford didn't practice because of what the team had called a muscle strain. Stafford was initially listed with a hamstring injury before the Lions changed it to a hip. Whatever. My guess is the Minnesota Vikings are preparing for Stafford to start Sunday at Ford Field. Also sitting out practice were tight end Tony Scheffler (calf), defensive tackle Corey Williams (knee) and receiver Titus Young (knee). Running back Mikel Leshoure (groin) was limited in practice.
Minnesota Vikings: Tight end Kyle Rudolph (quadriceps) sat out practice but is not believed to be in danger of missing Sunday's game against the Lions. Linebacker Erin Henderson (concussion) has not yet been cleared to practice.
