We touched on the possibility that Green Bay would re-sign tailback Ahman Green here and here. The move is now official, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and others. The team has also announced the move, which includes placing tailback DeShawn Wynn on injured reserve.
Green is expected to practice with the Packers and, possibly be available to back up Ryan Grant in Sunday’s game against Cleveland.
I’ll have a few more thoughts later Wednesday after we hear from coach Mike McCarthy. For now, I just wanted to make sure you had the news.
