GREEN BAY, Wis. -- As we just discussed, the Minnesota Vikings will start Joe Webb at quarterback Saturday night because of starter Christian Ponder's sore right elbow. While we have a moment, I want to refresh your memory on two videos that illustrate why so many people are intrigued by Webb's athletic ability.
This link takes you to a YouTube video from the winter of 2010, when Webb jumped over seven blocking dummies stacked on top of each other during pre-draft workouts.
This second link shows Webb performing a stunning 54-inch standing box jump in March of 2012.
The man can jump and run. Can he quarterback an NFL team in the playoffs? We are about to find out.
