GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers were scheduled to practice this afternoon in a session that was closed to the public, which is something rare for a team that regularly opens its training camp practices to fans.
Now, they’ve done something even more unusual. They cancelled it all together. They also called off the media availability for today.
There’s still hope for more concrete news about the severity of left tackle Bryan Bulaga’s knee injury and the workout of quarterback Vince Young, so stay tuned.
The next practice will be Tuesday at 8:20 a.m. CT.
Update: Instead of practicing today, the Packers are holding a private team-building activity. That is something they have done before during minicamps but rarely, if ever, on a day in which a training camp practice was scheduled. Perhaps, though, that's why day was designated as being closed to the public when the training camp schedule was released earlier this year.
