Green Bay’s offensive unit held what guard Daryn Colledge called a “come-to-Jesus meeting” Wednesday, according to this story from Greg A. Bedard of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
During a regularly-scheduled meeting, several individual members of the offense stood up and led a frank discussion about their individual play and the performance of the group at large. The topics included the 37 sacks quarterback Aaron Rodgers has taken. Only a few details emerged, but I thought receiver Donald Driver had the most urgent quote about it:
"If we don't win -- and I mean now -- they are going to fire all of our [butts] at the end of the season. I'm serious."
I don’t know whether the reaction would be that dramatic, but it’s important to see a sense of urgency descend on Lambeau Field.
