LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears cornerback Charles Tillman (knee) participated on a limited basis during Wednesday’s practice inside the Walter Payton Center, but isn’t expected to miss time Sunday when the club hosts the Minnesota Vikings.
“I do expect him to play,” Bears coach Marc Trestman said. “He was limited today. He did do some work; not just in individual, but during team [drills]. I just think it’s precautionary not to give him all the reps, but he was out there working.”
Tillman was the only player listed on Chicago’s injury report going into Sunday’s game. The Vikings, meanwhile, listed eight players on their injury report, including defensive tackle Kevin Williams (knee), cornerback Josh Robinson (quadriceps), center John Sullivan (knee) and offensive tackle Phil Loadholt (knee), all of whom practiced in a limited capacity.
Tillman missed portions of Chicago’s Week 1 matchup against Cincinnati due to dehydration. The club gave him intravenous fluids at halftime, and Tillman, who finished the game with two interceptions, was able to return.
“I was just a little dehydrated, but that’s an easy fix,” Tillman said. “IVs fixed that [as well as] Pedialyte [and] Coconut Water. I’m good.”
