The Detroit Lions' offensive tackle situation is officially interesting.
As expected, right tackle Corey Hilliard (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Dallas and both left tackle Riley Reiff (hamstring) and right tackle Jason Fox (knee) have been deemed questionable, although both practiced Friday for the Lions.
This means Detroit has just two tackles -- rookie LaAdrian Waddle and recently signed Barry Richardson -- as healthy offensive tackles against the Cowboys. It is fairly likely Reiff and Fox will play, but probably will be worth paying attention to them in warm-ups early Sunday morning.
In other injury news, Detroit coach Jim Schwartz said Jason Jones is in long-term rehab on his torn patellar tendon.
"You don't evaluate his rehab in weeks or even months," Schwartz said. "It's going to be quarters, probably. His spirits are up and he's doing a great job.
"He's a tough guy and he'll be back."
