I suppose this isn’t a big surprise: The NFL has flexed the Dec. 6 game between Minnesota and Arizona. The game will now kick off at 8:30 p.m. ET and air nationally on NBC.
Quarterback Brett Favre’s MVP-caliber season figures to make the Vikings a hot television ticket the rest of the way. At this point, four of their remaining six games are in a national timeslot.
Sunday’s game against Chicago recently was moved to 4:15 p.m. ET, and it’s possible the same thing will happen to the their Dec. 13 game against Cincinnati.
The Vikings are also scheduled to play on Sunday night at Carolina (Dec. 20) and on ESPN’s "Monday Night Football" at Chicago on Dec. 28.
