ATLANTA -- We wondered last week how opponents would treat Chicago kick returner Devin Hester, who hasn't been as explosive in 2008 as he had been in previous years.
The Atlanta Falcons aren't kicking out of bounds, but they've clearly adjusted their kickoffs to account for Hester. The popped up their first kickoff and squibbed the next two, and Hester doesn't have a return longer than 25 yards.
The trade-off is field position. The Bears have started their series at the 30-, 36- and 31-yard lines. At this point, we can't tell you what the Falcons' strategy is for punts because they haven't been forced to punt yet.
