MINNEAPOLIS -- Greetings from the Metrodome where, among other things, we should see some history in a few hours.
Minnesota quarterback Brett Favre will play in his 282nd consecutive game, tying him with former Vikings defensive end Jim Marshall for the most consecutive games played in NFL history by a position player. (New York Giants punter Jeff Feagles is at 347 and counting.)
Earlier this season, Favre set the consecutive start record for a position player. Don’t worry. It will all be in the book.
