Favre runs quick snap

CHICAGO -- Interesting thing happened just before Minnesota tied the game on Adrian Peterson’s 1-yard touchdown run.

Quarterback Brett Favre frantically waved to the Vikings’ sideline, begging coaches not to send in goal-line personnel. Instead, Favre wanted to run a no-huddle play against the Bears’ current configuration of defenders.

Coaches called several players back to the sidelines, and Favre ran a quick snap as he hoped.
