One final update on a busy Monday in the NFC North: Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy appears to have no concerns about the state of Packers cornerback Charles Woodson's injured shoulder or his status for Sunday's wild-card playoff game at Arizona.
Speaking to reporters in Green Bay this evening, McCarthy said Woodson has a "strain" and added: "Frankly, I think Charles will go through the same week of preparation that he has here the past probably six weeks. I fully expect him to be ready to go for Arizona."
Indeed, Woodson has been dealing with the injury in various forms for much of the second half of the season, sometimes taking a day off from practice to get extra treatment.
OK. Barring major news this evening, I'll be back with you Tuesday morning.
