MIAMI -- Chicago has only one offensive coaching position left to fill after hiring Mike DeBord on Tuesday to be their tight ends coach. DeBord, who spent the past two seasons with Seattle, interviewed last month.
The Bears’ final opening is at quarterbacks coach. They’ve already hired Mike Tice to be their offensive line coach and Mike Martz to be offensive coordinator. I’ll be curious to see if Martz doubles as quarterbacks coach or if the Bears make another hire. If they do, odds are he won't be named "Mike."
