Black and Blue all over: Changes in Green Bay?

We've spent time discussing the possibility of Chicago changing its defensive coordinator, but a similar scenario is also playing out in Green Bay.

Although there are no indications that change is afoot, the collapse of the Packers' defense has raised questions about the future of defensive coordinator Bob Sanders. The St. Louis Rams' interest in assistant head coach/linebackers Winston Moss, a possible successor to Sanders, could speed along the process, reports Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Sanders accepted blame for the defense's poor showing while speaking Monday to reporters in Green Bay, but expressed optimism about the future of the group:

"We have a very good group of guys here. We'll evaluate in the offseason every single aspect and see how we can do things better. I know the work ethic and I know what the guys can do. I know we played at a high level in a lot of games. There have been a lot of plays in a lot of games where we had big plays."

As of Monday, Sanders hadn't spoken with coach Mike McCarthy about his future. McCarthy is scheduled to hold his season-ending news conference Wednesday.
