Tinoisamoa won't play Thursday night
By Kevin Seifert
We've had a busy day of news here in the NFC North and I'm in serious catch-up mode. (Later I'll have some ketchup, but no eating for me until after you're good and fed.)
Up first: The Chicago Bears have ruled out linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa (knee) from Thursday night's game against the Miami Dolphins. The guess is that Nick Roach will start in his place.
Tinoisamoa missed 14 games last season because of two knee injuries but had made all nine starts in 2010. Roach obviously has starting experience, but there is little doubt that Tinoisamoa is a better play-maker. This season, he has four tackles behind the line of scrimmage, an interception and a forced fumble while ranking sixth on the team with 46 tackles.
All other Bears players will be available for Thursday night's game, including cornerback Zack Bowman (foot).
