FavreWatch: Doubtful for Detroit
By Kevin Seifert
Here is what we know:
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre didn't practice Friday.
Favre hasn't practiced since Dec. 3.
He's listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions because of a concussion suffered Dec. 20.
Interim coach Leslie Frazier would not say if Favre has passed a post-concussion impact test.
It stands to reason that Favre would have practiced Friday if he had passed that test.
The door is open for Favre to make one, final surprise start Sunday at Ford Field.
This time, I'm not going to so much as hazard a guess.
This drama has gotten silly and, more important, irrelevant.
If you want.
