After reading through all of this Donovan McNabb brouhaha -- check out Matt Mosley's NFC East blog for the latest -- I started thinking it would be awfully interesting if somehow McNabb ends up in a rematch with the Chicago Bears in the playoffs.
McNabb, of course, wrote in his yardbarker.com blog that he's "embarrassed" with the Eagles' past two games -- one of which was a 24-20 loss at Solider Field. McNabb said they lost "to teams we should have beaten ... not because I think they are not good -- they are. But I still believe we are better. We just didn't show it."
The passage is relatively harmless, but you can bet they've made their way into the Bears' locker room. This kind of thing happens all the time. If the teams meet in the playoffs, I'm sure the quote will have morphed into something about McNabb being embarrassed to have lost to the Bears. You know how these things work.
