ATLANTA -- The Chicago Bears just walked off the field at halftime trailing 9-3. They should feel fortunate the deficit isn't any worse.
The Falcons offense has rolled up 198 yards, and quarterback Matt Ryan is carving up the Bears defense between the 20-yard lines. But Atlanta had one touchdown called back because of an illegal man downfield, and otherwise the Bears have managed to hold Atlanta to field goals.
It'll be interesting to see what kind of adjustments Chicago offensive coordinator Ron Turner comes up with at halftime. The Bears have gotten nowhere running the ball, and the Falcons' pass defense is a bit tighter than the Detroit group that allowed Kyle Orton 334 yards last week.
