By Rob Demovsky

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- B.J. Raji made more money last season in the final year of his rookie contract than he will in his first free-agent deal this season.

Raji, who made $4.715 million last season, will make $4 million this season under the one-year deal he signed last Friday. The only guaranteed money was a $500,000 signing bonus.

The ninth overall pick in the 2009 draft, Raji originally signed a six-year, $28.6 million deal that contained $17.7 million in guarantees. The final year was voided, making a Raji a free agent this year for the first time.
