Black and Blue all over: Briggs' status
By Kevin Seifert
We still haven’t gotten any official word on the condition of Chicago linebacker Lance Briggs, but Vaughn McClure of the Chicago Tribune reports he has a mild left knee sprain and a hip pointer that could affect his availability for Sunday’s game against St. Louis.

Brad Biggs of the Chicago Sun-Times suggests June’s arrival coincides more with his medical clearance last week after recovering from a broken arm. The Bears will spend the next five weeks evaluating June to determine if he could have a role for them next season.
