NFC North: Angelo Wright
That was the word Wednesday from Williams’ agent, Angelo Wright. Williams said last month that he was “50-50” about returning, but he appears to have made his decision.
Regardless, the Vikings will have to start considering a succession plan for the position. Williams, 38, has one year remaining on his contract.

Multiple reports are suggesting that Tuesday is the day of reckoning for Minnesota defensive tackles Kevin Williams and Pat Williams, along with five other NFL players who have appealed four-game suspensions for testing positive for a banned diuretic contained in a weight-loss supplement.
We'll react accordingly when the news breaks. But there are indications that Tuesday might not bring complete clarity to the situation. Angelo Wright, the agent for Atlanta defensive tackle Grady Jackson, told the Associated Press he will "file something" if Jackson's appeal is denied. Wright is also the agent for Pat Williams.
Wright did not specify his intentions, but seems to be indicating that legal action will be the players' next step. If successful, the strategy could allow the players to continue playing in the short term.
From an NFC North perspective, the loss of either Williams would be huge if not unexpected. We'll get into deeper analysis if and when the news comes down later Tuesday.
