GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Uh-oh. Minnesota has given up half of its 28-point halftime lead in the first the first 10:33 of the third quarter.

It's 28-14 now after Roderick Hood returned a blocked field goal 68 yards for a touchdown. The Vikings will get the ball back, but the Cardinals' defense has adjusted to their bootleg/screen passing offense.

I'll be interested to hear from Minnesota placekicker Ryan Longwell after this game. The Cardinals' Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie came from the outside and dove right in front of Longwell to make the block. Typically, though, the outside rusher doesn't have enough time to get to that point before the kick is away.

Either Longwell's kick was low, or Rodgers-Cromartie made an exceptionally fast charge.

And by the way, that was the seventh special-teams touchdown the Vikings have given up this season, setting an NFL record.
