GLENDALE, Ariz. -- As expected, Atlanta defensive end Jamaal Anderson will sit out today's game with an ankle injury.

Anderson tested out the ankle on the field before the game, but team officials didn't think he was ready to play. Chauncey Davis will start in his place.

Anderson has been placed on the inactive list. Other inactives for Atlanta are Glen Sharpe, Eric Brock, Tony Gilbert, Wayne Gandy, Alex Stepanovich and Quinn Ojinnaka. D.J. Shockley is the third quarterback.
