Two of the three finalists for the prestigious Bart Starr Award are from the NFC South.
Tampa Bay running back Warrick Dunn and New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees are finalists along with Arizona quarterback Kurt Warner. The award honors a player for exemplary character and leadership in the home, on the field and in the community. It's no surprise any of the three are finalists because Dunn, Brees and Warner have been very active in the community throughout their careers.
Dunn, a Louisiana native, and Brees have been particularly active in Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts.
The winner of the award will be announced Jan. 31 at the Athletes in Action Super Bowl breakfast at the Sun Dome in Tampa.
