The NFC South is now down to four unsigned draft picks as the Saints just announced they have signed third-round draft pick Jimmy Graham to a four-year contract.
Graham spent most of his college days as a basketball player at Miami before becoming a tight end in football last season. His athleticism impressed the coaching staff during minicamp and Graham could get some playing time behind Jeremy Shockey and David Thomas.
New Orleans’ first-round pick Patrick Robinson remains unsigned. Fellow first-round picks Gerald McCoy (Tampa Bay) and Sean Weatherspoon (Atlanta) still haven’t signed. Also, Tampa Bay has yet to sign seventh-round choice Cody Grimm, but I’m sure that’s only a matter of time.
