Buccaneers shake up offensive line

In a somewhat surprising move, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers just announced they have waived starting guard Keydrick Vincent, while promoting tackle Will Barker to the active roster from the practice squad.

Vincent started the first five games of the season before sitting out with an injury last week. His play had been spotty as Tampa Bay’s offensive line struggled to open holes for the running game. Rookie Ted Larsen started in Vincent’s place last week and likely will do the same against Arizona on Sunday.

But center Jeff Faine is expected back from injury within a few weeks and that will allow Jeremy Zuttah to move back from center to guard. The Bucs also needed to activate Barker to provide tackle depth because starting right tackle Jeremy Trueblood is expected to be out with an injury Sunday.
